Chopard Red Carpet rose brooch

Sep 4, 2022

The main body of the brooch is made of white gold and titanium and is set with round-cut diamonds weighing 37.62 ct and round cut black diamonds weighing 0.59 ct.

Chopard unveiled this rose brooch in the 2022 Red Carpet Fine Jewelry Collection, inspired by Charlie Chaplin's classic film City Lights, and cleverly pays homage to the silent film era of monochrome film with black and white diamonds.

Released in 1931, City Lights tells the love story of a homeless man and a flower seller, and Chopard is based on the film's iconic symbolic element, a rose, symbolizing the purity, kindness and selflessness of love.

This rose is made of white gold, each petal is individually shaped, the posture is naturally stretched, and the petals are set with more than 40ct round cut colorless diamonds, shining on the white gold substrate; The rose branches are made of electroplated black titanium, and the leaves are inlaid with small black diamonds to form a strong visual contrast.

For a more vivid wearing effect, the bottom of the rose petals is connected to the branches by an articulated structure, and each piece can flutter slightly with the wearer's movements, in an elegant and gorgeous style.
