It takes 5 steps to change from rough diamond to engagement ring

4.Polishing. Once the diamonds have been polished into rough circles, the craftsmen start polishing them, using mechanical arms and turntables to grind out each small section of the diamond. This process actually includes two steps, namely, carving the main surface and polishing. The main surface carving is to fix the upper and lower parts of the diamond, add 16 upper facets such as table top, and fix the pointed bottom. Polishing is to polish all the facets at the lower part of the diamond, so that the round diamond becomes a finished diamond with 58 complete facets.
5.Check. This is the final stage of the whole process. It is very important that diamonds meet the quality monitoring standards of diamond manufacturers. If there are any imperfections, they should be returned to the polisher for rework.
