Graff Diamonds is a British jeweler founded by Laurence Graff in London in 1960 and has grown to about 40 stores in New York, Dubai, Taipei, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing and other places. Graff specializes in the diamond field, from the search, processing and design of rough. Founder Laurence Graff once proudly said that more than 70% of the world's yellow diamonds come from Graff.

Brand history

In 1950, Laurence Graff apprenticed in a jewellery workshop in London and officially founded the Graff brand in 1960. Since 1974, Graff has been participating in trade fairs, exhibitions and auctions around the world, buying The Windsor YellowsThe ParagonThe Lesotho PromiseThe Letseng Legacy, and The The Wittelsbach-GraffThe Delaire SunriseThe ConstellationThe Graff PinkThe Graff Sweethearts and other legendary diamonds, and have been found in London, Monte Carlo, New York, Moscow, Chicago, Stores in Las Vegas, Bar Harbor, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Geneva, Dubai, Shanghai and other places.
On August 6, 2009, Grave Jewelry was robbed of jewelry worth about 40 million pounds in the Great Robbery of the Glaf Jewelry Store in London, and the case has not been solved. On 21 May 2012, Graff Jewellery plans to launch a roadshow in Hong Kong. Subsequently, Graff Jewellery conducted a public offering of HK$25 to HK$37 per share, raising up to $7.78 billion. Due to poor market conditions, Graff Jewelry eventually canceled its listing plan.

1960 Graff Diamonds Ltd was officially established.
In 1962, the first two retail stores were opened in London, when the diamond industry was still dominated by traditional wholesale and workshops.
Inspired by the royal hairstyles of the 18th century Versailles, Graff created a Hair and Jewel hair ornament set with diamonds and gemstones worth up to $1 million.
1967 The brand begins selling jewelry at The Robinson's Department Store in Singapore.
1973 Became the first jeweler to receive the Queen's Enterprise Award.
1974 The Star of Bombay, a 47.39 ct diamond purchased.
1974 Headquarters opened at Knightsbridge, London, opening of the first flagship store.
1979 The Idol's Eye, the world's largest natural blue diamond, weighs 70.21 carats.
1982 Christie's in New York buys a 41.94 ct diamond The Emperor Maximilian.
1983 Three Diamonds The Emperor Maximilian, The Sultan Abdul Hammid II Diamond and The Idol's Eye were all sold to a single buyer, making it the highest ever diamond deal
1984 The Imperial Blue, the world's largest immaculate pear-shaped deep blue diamond weighing 39.31 carats.
1987 Volis at Sotheby's in Geneva. Simpson's 19.77 ct emerald engagement ring and "Windsor Diamonds" set with brilliant yellow diamond earrings
1990 The Paragon, the world's largest D-color flawless diamond weighing 137.82 carats, is unveiled at the Graff Jewelry Exhibition at the Beverly Regency Hotel.
1993 Flagship store opened on New Bond Street, London.
1998 Buying a controlling stake in the South African Diamond Corporation, Debeers Diamond Trading Company.
2000 The Sarah, the world's largest Fancy Vivid yellow diamond weighing 132.43 carats, is cut from 218 carats of rough.
2008 The Watch Business Unit was established.
2010 Opened the first branch of the Chinese mainland at The Peninsula Shanghai.
