Science popularization stickers - natural black diamonds

Apr 10, 2023

Natural black diamonds are also known as "hydrogen carbonate"

Black diamonds have the same chemical composition as white diamonds, but their crystal structure is different, which means they are composed of many small crystals that stick together in a random form, rather than a solid cone with recognizable natural lines. Natural black diamonds have very high content, such as stone mill, pyrite or hematite, which results in their different colors. In fact, the true body color of natural black diamonds may range from almost colorless to brown or olive green, but their high concentration of substances makes them appear black. Natural black diamonds are usually completely opaque, have a high gloss, and have a metallic appearance.
