Sotheby's Hong Kong Jewelry Autumn Sale: 30ct pear-shaped diamonds, imperial green jadeite bead chains, Asian designers

On 7 October, Sotheby's Hong Kong will hold the "Magnificent Jewels I" Autumn Auction, featuring 136 pieces of jewellery. The focus is on 2 pieces of "Imperial Green" jadeite jewelry, a pair of pear-shaped loose diamonds weighing more than 60 ct, and collectible works by Chinese designers such as Cindy Chao, Feng J, and Wallace Chan.
The most eye-catching of this show is 2 pieces of jadeite jewelry - a jadeite necklace is made of 41 "imperial green" natural jadeite beads, the bead diameter reaches 11.60mm-13.70mm, the emerald luster, the water head is sufficient, and the hue size is perfectly matched; Another jadeite pendant is in the shape of a melon, which symbolizes "Heavenly Blessings" and presents excellent transparency and color saturation.
The highest value in the field was a pair of pear-cut diamond loose stones, weighing 31.46 ct and 30 ct, respectively, which were identified by GIA as Type IIa diamonds with D color and Flawless clarity levels, and these highest-quality large-size diamonds are particularly difficult to match in a pair HK$45-55 million.
Fancy Color Lot highlights include a 3.79ct pear-shaped blue diamond that achieves the Fancy Intense Blue color rating; A 10.26ct oval pink diamond reaches the Fancy Deep Orangy Pink color rating; Most special is a pink diamond ring custom-made by Brazilian designer Lily Gabriella for Sotheby's Diamonds, with a 6.78ct pink diamond center stone surrounded by a green garnet for a crisp color collision.
Of particular interest in the colored gemstone lot is a Paraíba tourmaline ring set with a pillow-cut Paraíba tourmaline weighing 7.66 ct and identified as Brazil, the rarest and most precious Paraíba origin, which is set against a diamond and a small Paraí Bali stone to make the electro-blue center stone stand out.
You can also see a number of collectible works from Asian designers, such as Cindy Chao's ribbon earrings, Wallace Chan's cicada-shaped brooch, Feng J's Fountain On Fire ruby ring, etc., of which the most powerful design is a floral-themed ruby diamond ring by Cindy Chao The petal-shaped ring is set with rubies of different sizes and a D-colored diamond in the center, making the whole piece vivid and charming.
"Lot 1888" jadeite necklace
A total of 41 "Imperial Green" jadeite beads are strung in sizes from 13.95-13.90x13.70 to 11.85-11.80x11.60mm, all of which have been identified by Gübelin as natural A-cargo jadeite with diamonds and rubies in the buckle section.

Set with a 'Blessing of God' Imperial Green jadeite pendant, identified by Gübelin as a natural A-carte jadeite, paired with a round-cut diamond.
"Lot 1928" pear-shaped diamond loose stone
Estimate: HK$45-55 million
The two pear-shaped diamonds, weighing 31.46 ct and 30.00 ct, were both D and Flawless clarity graded by GIA as Type IIa diamonds.

Estimate: HK$28-33 million
A 32.74ct round-cut diamond with a GIA grade of D and Flawless clarity as a Type IIa diamond.
'Lot 1835' diamond earrings
Estimate: HK$24.5 million-30 million
The center stone is a 3.79ct pear-cut blue diamond and a 4.53ct pear-cut diamond with a Fancy Intense Blue color grade and IF clarity grade; Colorless diamonds reach D and IF clarity grades with curved moonstones and round-cut diamonds.
