This brooch from Tiffany's 2019 Blue Book fine jewelry collection "Jewel Box", in an abstract style to create the classic "Dragonfly" theme, full of light and flexible vitality. The designer paved the wings of dragonflies with custom-cut diamonds, each with a unique geometric shape and tiny gaps between the diamonds that are as bright as crushed ice.
"Dragonfly" is one of Tiffany's oldest design elements, and as early as the Art Nouveau era, Tiffany glass lampshades used dragonfly motifs as an important decorative pattern. Since then, fine jewelry has used enamel craftsmanship, handmade gold carving, and gemstone laying to interpret the dragonfly theme, showing a more elegant and luxurious atmosphere.
The highlight of this year's Blue Book brooch is the ingenious diamond shape - the dragonfly's head is set with 6 stepped diamonds on the side, which are cleverly hidden by the track setting; The slender body is made of triangular, stepped diamonds; The wings are laid out with custom-cut diamonds to reveal irregular geometric polygon silhouettes, with a half-bezel set base in platinum underneath for a free-scattering look.

Inspired by the 16th-century Cabinets of Curiosity, the Jewel Box collection features all brooch pieces paired with individually ordered jewelry boxes to recreate the exquisite furnishings in the "House of Curiosities". The brooch is housed in a sterling silver letterhead, and when you gently open it, you can see the dragonfly on the black padding as if opening a dusty treasure for a long time.
